Shawnee County in east central Kansas...
Southern Jackson County in northeastern Kansas...
* Until 800 PM CDT.
* At 717 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Emmett to near Keene, moving northeast at 50
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Public. At 707 PM CDT, a mesonet station measured a 78
MPH wind gust on I-70 in Wabaunsee County.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Topeka, Rossville, Dover, Silver Lake, Hoyt, Mayetta, Denison,
Delia, Willard, Potawatomi Reservation, and Pauline.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 between mile markers 346 and 355.

At 724 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Emmett to near Dover, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement. At 722 PM CDT, St Marys PD is reporting
wind gusts around 65 MPH.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

At 735 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles northwest of Potawatomi Reservation to 5 miles
southeast of Silver Lake, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 724 PM CDT a spotter near
Silver Lake estimated wind gusts of 70 MPH.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

At 745 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 3 miles south of Holton to Topeka, moving east at 50
mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Public. At 733 PM CDT, a wind gust of 64 MPH was measured
near Lake Sherwood. A spotter also reported estimated 65
MPH winds at highway 75 and the Prairie Band Casino at 641
PM CDT.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile
homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Topeka, Rossville, Dover, Silver Lake, Hoyt, Mayetta, Denison, Delia,

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SHAWNEE AND SOUTHERN JACKSON
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 800 PM CDT...
The storms which prompted the warning is moving out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, gusty
winds are still possible with these thunderstorms.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
northeastern and east central Kansas.
