The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Washita County in western Oklahoma...
  Northwestern Caddo County in southwestern Oklahoma...
  East central Roger Mills County in western Oklahoma...
  Custer County in western Oklahoma...
  Southwestern Blaine County in northwestern Oklahoma...
  Southeastern Dewey County in northwestern Oklahoma...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 614 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Hammon to 3 miles east of Foss, moving
  northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable 
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, 
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Weatherford, Clinton, Cordell, Burns Flat, Thomas, Hydro, Arapaho,
  Hammon, Dill City, Canute, Corn, Custer City, Butler, Bessie, Foss,
  Putnam, Foss Reservoir, Moorewood, Fay, and Stafford.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
