The National Weather Service in Denver has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  West Central Logan County in northeastern Colorado...
  Eastern Weld County in northeastern Colorado...

* Until 730 PM MDT.

* At 655 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located over Stoneham, or 23 miles west of Sterling, 
  moving northeast at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
           without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
           destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
           occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Stoneham.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built 
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, 
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect 
yourself from flying debris.

...TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM MDT FOR WEST 
CENTRAL LOGAN AND EASTERN WELD COUNTIES...

At 705 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado 
was located 5 miles northwest of Willard, or 20 miles west of 
Sterling, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
         Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree
         damage is likely.

Locations impacted include...
  Stoneham.

...TORNADO WARNING HAS EXPIRED FOR WEST CENTRAL LOGAN AND EASTERN 
WELD COUNTIES...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area. 
Therefore, the warning has been allowed to expire. However, small 
hail, gusty winds, and heavy rain are still possible with this 
thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for a 
portion of northeast Colorado.
