The National Weather Service in Lubbock Texas has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Kent County in northwestern Texas...
  Southwestern Stonewall County in northwestern Texas...

* Until 745 PM CDT.

* At 711 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Clairemont, or 9 miles west of Jayton, moving
  southeast at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Clairemont around 715 PM CDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR
SOUTHEASTERN KENT AND SOUTHWESTERN STONEWALL COUNTIES...

At 725 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 4 miles east of Clairemont, or 8 miles southwest of
Jayton, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Kent and southwestern Stonewall Counties.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN KENT AND SOUTHWESTERN
STONEWALL COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 745 PM CDT...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.  However,
small hail, gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with this
thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
northwestern Texas.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
stonewall and Kent Counties until 8 PM.
