The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Western Dallam County in the Panhandle of Texas...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 355 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 10 miles southeast of Texline, or 20 miles southeast of
  Clayton, moving south at 15 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ware.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

DALLAM COUNTY...

At 358 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles northwest of Ware, or 21 miles southeast of
Clayton, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is

SOUTHWESTERN DALLAM COUNTY...

At 423 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located 6 miles west of Ware,
or 19 miles northwest of Dalhart, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and two inch hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado at 4:23 PM CDT.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
