* Tornado Warning for...
Southern Foard County in northern Texas...
Northern Knox County in northern Texas...
Northwestern Baylor County in northern Texas...
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 704 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles northwest of Truscott, moving southeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to three inches in diameter.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Red Springs, Truscott, Gilliland, Vera, Bomarton, and southwestern
Lake Kemp.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a storm shelter, safe room or an interior
room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you
are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest
substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.
This is a dangerous storm, capable of producing large hail driven by

At 712 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 5 miles north of Truscott, moving southeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHERN FOARD...NORTHERN KNOX AND
NORTHWESTERN BAYLOR COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The tornado warning has been cancelled. However, dangerous wind
gusts up to 80 mph and golf ball hail are possible.
Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Knox and Baylor Counties.
