...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is 
  expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following 
  county, Lamar.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 146 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Vernon, Millport, Kennedy, Bedford, Crossville, Hightogy,
    Star, Melborne and Cody.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
