...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 315 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the following 
  counties, Canadian and Oklahoma.

* WHEN...Until 315 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1212 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain
    has fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Oklahoma City, Edmond, Midwest City, El Reno, Yukon, Bethany,
    Mustang, Warr Acres, The Village, Tuttle, Piedmont, Spencer,
    Nichols Hills, Union City, Arcadia, Forest Park, Woodlawn
    Park, Lake Aluma, Richland and Wiley Post Airport.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
