...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM CDT MONDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of Oklahoma, including the following counties, 
  Atoka, Bryan, Carter, Coal, Garvin, Jefferson, Johnston, Love, 
  Marshall, Murray, Pontotoc and Stephens and northern Texas, 
  including the following county, Clay.

* WHEN...Until 230 AM CDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 827 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ardmore, Durant, Sulphur, Madill, Atoka, Tishomingo, Davis,
    Marietta, Coalgate, Lone Grove, Healdton, Wynnewood, Wilson,
    Kingston, Dickson, Colbert, Ringling, Caddo, Mannsville and
    Ryan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
