* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northeastern Bledsoe County in east Tennessee...
Central Rhea County in east Tennessee...
* WHEN...Until 630 PM EDT /530 PM CDT/.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 323 PM EDT /223 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain
due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to
begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of
rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dayton, Spring City, Stinging Fork Falls State Park, Evensville,
Piney Falls State Park and Grandview.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
