...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southwestern Campbell County in east Tennessee...
Northeastern Scott County in east Tennessee...
* WHEN...Until 215 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1117 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the
area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
La Follette, Jacksboro, Huntsville, Caryville, Royal Blue, Cove
Lake State Park, Elk Valley, Norma and Smokey Junction.
