...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM MDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Southeastern Sandoval County in north central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 200 AM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1155 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This  will cause arroyo and small stream flooding.
    Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Rio Rancho, Bernalillo, Corrales, Coronado State Monument, Santa
    Ana Pueblo, Enchanted Hills, Sandia Pueblo, Mariposa, Vista Hills
    and Rio Rancho City Center.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
