...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 AM MDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Arroyo and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...East Central Santa Fe County in north central New Mexico...
* WHEN...Until 615 AM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 317 AM MDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and
small stream flooding. Up to 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eldorado At Santa Fe, Lamy and Canada De Los Alamos.
- Low water crossings along San Marcos Arroyo and Galisteo Creek
may be impacted.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
