PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an 
alternative route.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING TO TOMORROW EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Cimarron River near Ripley.

* WHEN...From this evening to tomorrow evening.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Expect the Cimarron River to reach 
  bankfull levels through Payne County. Small areas of agricultural 
  land and oil wells located near the channel are isolated by water 
  in cutoff channels along the river valley.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:00 PM CDT Wednesday the stage was 15.8 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The Cimarron River is expected to rise to a crest
    of 16.1 feet tomorrow morning.
  - Action stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
