* At 455 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Pope AAF, or
9 miles north of Fort Bragg, moving southwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Fort Bragg,
Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Hoffman, and Antioch.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 35.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage
mobile homes and other buildings. Seek shelter in a sturdy structure
until the storm has passed. Stay away from windows as flying debris
generated by damaging winds can be deadly.
