Southwestern Lea County in southeastern New Mexico...
* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 352 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles northeast
of Red Bluff Reservoir, or 26 miles northwest of Mentone, moving
northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

State Highway 128 and Halfway.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
