The National Weather Service in Rapid City has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Harding County in northwestern South Dakota...

* Until 645 PM MDT.

* At 615 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 8 miles southeast of South Cave Hills, or 9 miles
  northeast of Buffalo, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Northwestern Slim Buttes around 620 PM MDT.
  Ralph around 625 PM MDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 PM MDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN HARDING COUNTY...

At 632 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles north of Reva, or 21 miles east of Buffalo,
moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Harding County.
