...FIRE WEATHER WATCH IS CANCELLED FOR DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS
FOR THE SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE...

The National Weather Service in Amarillo has cancelled the Fire
Weather Watch.

A low pressure system expected to move in during the afternoon
hours continues to see winds on the lighter side for the Western
Panhandles. However, very dry and hot conditions are still
expected to create elevated fire weather conditions. Given this, a
Fire Danger Statement will be issued for these areas instead.
