EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
Much more settled conditions will prevail through the weekend and
into early next week. Showers will be possible during the day Friday,
mainly along and south of Interstate 40, but little impact is
expected. Thunderstorm chances could increase toward the first
part of next week with some severe potential possible during this
time.

all of the severe weather potential will remain south of the Red
