...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern Armstrong County in the panhandle of Texas...
  Southern Carson County in the panhandle of Texas...

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 920 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
    expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Claude, Groom, Goodnight and Washburn.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 1215 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 1215 AM CDT early this morning for
a portion of the Panhandle of Texas, including the following areas,
Armstrong and Carson.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
