Southeastern Dakota County in northeastern Nebraska...
* Until 815 PM CDT.
* At 726 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Salix, or 15 miles south of Sioux City, moving
northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

miles southeast of Sioux City, moving northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado. At 731 PM, a
tornado was reported in Salix.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Pierson, or 20 miles southwest of Cherokee, moving northeast at 60
mph.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
