The National Weather Service in JACKSON KY has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southeastern Laurel County in south central Kentucky...
  Northwestern Knox County in southeastern Kentucky...
  West central Clay County in southeastern Kentucky...

* Until 730 PM EDT.

* At 701 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Sublimity City, or near London, moving east at 30
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  London around 705 PM EDT.
  Lesbas around 710 PM EDT.
  Tuttle around 715 PM EDT.
  Cane Creek around 720 PM EDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Blackwater.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHEASTERN LAUREL...NORTHWESTERN KNOX
AND WEST CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 730 PM EDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
south central and southeastern Kentucky. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch
also remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for southeastern Kentucky.
