Northeastern Randall County in the Panhandle of Texas...
Southeastern Potter County in the Panhandle of Texas...
* Until 900 PM CDT.
* At 820 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Mescalero Park, or 5 miles northeast of Canyon,
moving northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

was located near Lake Tanglewood, or 7 miles southeast of Amarillo,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN RANDALL AND SOUTHEASTERN
POTTER COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 900 PM CDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. However, heavy
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.
To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Amarillo.
Remember, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for southwestern
Randall County until 915 PM.
