The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Northwestern Jerauld County in central South Dakota...
* Until 400 PM CDT.
* At 323 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Gann Valley, or 23 miles north of Kimball, moving
northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Jerauld County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
To report severe weather contact your nearest law enforcement agency.
They will send your report to the National Weather Service office in
Sioux Falls.

NORTHWESTERN JERAULD COUNTY...
At 333 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles northeast of Gann Valley, or 25 miles north of
Kimball, moving northeast at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
