The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Southwestern Butler County in west central Pennsylvania...
* Until 815 PM EDT.
* At 756 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles north of Zelienople, or 12 miles west of
Butler, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Butler, Homeacre-Lyndora, Meridian, Prospect, Connoquenessing and
Portersville.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.

SOUTHWESTERN BUTLER COUNTY...
At 801 PM EDT, a tornado producing storm was located 7 miles north of
Zelienople, or 11 miles west of Butler, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado.
SOURCE...Radar confirmed tornado.
