Southern Macon County in central Illinois...
* Until 1230 AM CDT.
* At 1138 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located
along a line extending from near Mount Auburn to near Edinburg,
moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Blue Mound and Stonington around 1145 PM CDT.
Moweaqua and Macon around 1150 PM CDT.
Assumption around 1155 PM CDT.

At 1157 PM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located along a
line extending from near Moweaqua to Assumption, moving east at 45
mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR WEST CENTRAL MOULTRIE...NORTHWESTERN
SHELBY AND SOUTH CENTRAL MACON COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...
The circulation has weakened and a tornado no longer appears to be
ongoing or imminent. Therefore, the tornado warning has been
cancelled. However, damaging winds remain likely and a Severe
Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area. Additional
brief tornadoes could develop, so be prepared to take shelter if
additional tornado warnings are issued!
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
central Illinois.
