...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY TOMORROW AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Cowleech Fork Sabine River at Greenville.
* WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 17.0 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding will occur.
A few rural roads closures will be needed along the river reach.
Moderate flooding will occur along the river through Greenville.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 2:45 PM CST Saturday the stage was 9.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 14.0 feet.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this afternoon to a crest of 16.7 feet this evening. It
will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM CST THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following
counties, Delta, Fannin, Hopkins, Hunt and Lamar.
* WHEN...Until 530 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Some low-water crossings
may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Local law enforcement reported water over the roads near FM
64 and CR 3120 and FM 64 and FM 1532. Low lying and/or poor
drainage areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory
area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are forecast.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Commerce, Cooper, Roxton, Big Creek Lake, Klondike, Cooper
Lake, Cooper Lake State Park, Ladonia, Tira, Pecan Gap,
Enloe, Ben Franklin, Peerless, Lake Creek, Gadston, Howland,
Dial, Noble, Charleston and Pacio.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following
counties, Collin, Dallas, Denton and Rockwall.
* WHEN...Until 445 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Some low-water crossings may become impassable. Ponding of water
on roadways is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain
due to thunderstorms. This will likely cause urban and small
stream flooding. Low lying and/or poor drainage areas will
experience minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and
2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts
up to 1 inch are forecast.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie,
Mesquite, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Richardson,
Lewisville, Allen, Rowlett, Euless, Desoto, Grapevine, Cedar
Hill, Wylie and Coppell.
