The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has extended the
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Grayson County in north central Texas...
* Until 415 PM CST.
* At 234 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms producing heavy rain. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to half an inch are
forecast. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar and automated gauges.
IMPACT...Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets, and underpasses as well as other
poor drainage and low lying areas.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Sherman, Whitesboro, Denison, Howe, Pottsboro, Collinsville,
Gunter, Knollwood, Dorchester, Randell Lake, Eisenhower State
Park, Lake Texoma, Preston, Southmayd, Tioga, Sadler, Ethel,
Luella, Boddie and Carpenters Bluff.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Grayson County in north central Texas...
* Until 315 PM CST.
* At 1216 PM CST, emergency management reported thunderstorms
producing heavy rain and flooding. Local PD has reported several
flooded areas near the Harrison St bridge, 1000 block of north
Travis, and between Taylor St and Parkway. Between 1 and 2 inches
of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
forecast. Flash flooding is already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
