The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  East central Lewis County in northeastern Kentucky...

* Until 515 PM EDT.

* At 443 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Vanceburg, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Rexton and Garrison.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL LEWIS COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT
515 PM EDT...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been 
cancelled. However, damaging winds remain possible and a Severe 
Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
northeastern Kentucky...and south central Ohio.
