Southeastern Culpeper County in northern Virginia...
North central Spotsylvania County in central Virginia...
* Until 615 PM EDT.
* At 545 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 11 miles southeast of Culpeper, moving southeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...For those in the direct path of a tornado touchdown,
flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Damage to roofs, siding, and windows may occur.
Mobile homes may be damaged or destroyed. Tree damage is
likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Stafford, northeastern Orange, south central Fauquier,
southeastern Culpeper and north central Spotsylvania Counties,
including the following locations... Chancellorsville, Lignum,
Storck, Holly Corner, Dunavant, Lake Of The Woods, Richardsville,
Hartwood, Cookstown, and Sumerduck.

Fredericksburg, moving southeast at 30 mph.
