The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southern Monroe County in south central Indiana...
  Southeastern Owen County in west central Indiana...
  Northeastern Greene County in southwestern Indiana...

* Until 745 PM EDT.

* At 717 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 9 miles northeast of Bloomfield, or 15 miles west of 
  Bloomington, moving east at 45 mph. This storm has a history of 
  producing tornadoes.

  HAZARD...Tornado and baseball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bloomington, Ellettsville, Indiana University, Solsberry,
  Smithville, Monroe Reservoir, Woodville Hills, Charles Deam
  Wilderness, Unionville, and Whitehall.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest

At 731 PM EDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
located near Bloomington, moving east at 45 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado.

IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may 
         be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes 
         will be destroyed. Considerable damage to homes, 
         businesses, and vehicles is likely and complete destruction 
         is possible.

Bloomington, Ellettsville, Indiana University, Smithville, Monroe
