The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Hancock County in west central Illinois...
  South central Lee County in southeastern Iowa...
  Southeastern Clark County in northeastern Missouri...

* Until 630 PM CDT.

* At 547 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Monticello, or 9 miles west of Canton, moving
  northeast at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Winchester, Gregory Landing, and St. Patrick around 555 PM CDT.
  Warsaw and Alexandria around 600 PM CDT.
  Keokuk, Hamilton, and Sutter around 605 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Chatfield Park, Elvaston, Mooar, Sandusky, Camp Eastman and Basco.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

was located near Gregory Landing, or 7 miles north of Canton, moving
northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Keokuk, Hamilton, Warsaw, Alexandria, Sutter, Gregory Landing, and 
  Tioga around 605 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Elvaston and Basco.
