...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON SUNDAY TO NOON CST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Total snow accumulations 
  between 9 and 14 inches except between 11 and 15 inches for 
  northern and east-central Ashland County and between 14 and 18 
  inches for northern Iron County. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Ashland and Iron Counties. This includes the Tribal Lands 
  of the Bad River Reservation and the northwestern area of the Lac 
  du Flambeau Band. Other locations including Madeline Island.

* WHEN...From noon Sunday to noon CST Monday.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are expected, mainly in the northern 
  half of these South Shore counties, and will make travel 
  treacherous and potentially life-threatening, especially along 
  Highway 2 on the South Shore where the strongest wind gusts are 
  expected. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The 
  hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, 
have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with

  especially along Highway 61 on the North Shore. Plan on slippery
