The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Northeastern Hillsdale County in southeastern Michigan...
* Until 630 PM EST.
* At 543 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Jonesville, or near Hillsdale, moving northeast at
35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Hillsdale County, including the following locations...
Jerome, Somerset Center, Moscow, Somerset, and North Adams.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

NORTHEASTERN HILLSDALE COUNTY...
At 552 PM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles northwest of Addison, or 10 miles northeast of
Hillsdale, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
