The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Central Clinton County in south central Michigan...

* Until midnight EDT.

* At 1114 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located 10
  miles northeast of Portland, moving east at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* These dangerous storms will be near...
  St. Johns around 1125 PM EDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest

St. Johns, moving east at 50 mph.
