The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma...
* Until 1030 PM CDT.
* At 824 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen this evening. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to
1.5 inches are possible in the warned area before 9 PM.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Lawton.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 PM CDT THIS
EVENING FOR CENTRAL COMANCHE COUNTY...
At 901 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms produced heavy
rain across the warned area where between 1 and 2 inches of rain has
fallen in and near Lawton. The rain has moved out, but flooding
impacts will likely continue from the heavy rain earlier this
evening.
