The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Newaygo County in west central Michigan...
  Central Muskegon County in west central Michigan...

* Until 1030 PM EDT.

* At 954 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located 8
  miles northeast of Muskegon, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

  Grant around 1010 PM EDT.

CENTRAL MUSKEGON COUNTY...

At 1004 PM EDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located near
Ravenna, or 13 miles east of Muskegon, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
east central Muskegon County, including the following locations...
Moorland.
