The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Laramie County in southeastern Wyoming...

* Until 545 PM MDT.

* At 522 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Federal, or 20 miles east of Laramie, moving
  southeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Federal, Table Mountain Ranches, Rocking Star Ranch, and Silver 
  Sage Estates around 530 PM MDT.
  Ranchettes around 540 PM MDT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest

SOUTHWESTERN LARAMIE COUNTY...

At 531 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Rocking Star Ranch, or 15 miles northwest of
Cheyenne, moving southeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

  Happy Valley, Rocking Star Ranch, Silver Sage Estates, and

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN LARAMIE COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT
545 PM MDT...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM MDT for
southeastern Wyoming.
