...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Oklahoma, including the following
counties, Caddo, Comanche and Kiowa.
* WHEN...Until 945 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 752 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Apache, Meers, Lake Lawtonka, Boone and northwestern Wichita
Mountains Wildlife Refuge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD ADVISORY WILL EXPIRE AT 1145 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
The Flood Advisory will expire at 1145 AM CDT this morning for a
portion of southwest Oklahoma, including the following areas, Caddo,
Comanche and Kiowa.
The threat for widespread flooding has increased over the area.
Therefore the Flood Advisory has been replaced by a Flood Warning
until 815 PM. Please refer to that bulletin for more information.
