...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast and southern Oklahoma, including the 
  following counties, in southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Coal, Johnston 
  and Marshall. In southern Oklahoma, Love.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 815 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Madill, Atoka, Tishomingo, Marietta, Coalgate, Kingston,
    Ravia, Thackerville, Wapanucka, Stringtown, Lehigh, Milburn,
    Bromide, Fillmore, Coleman, Little City, Clarita, Olney,
    Russett and northern Lake Texoma.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.
