The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois...
  Northwestern Mercer County in northwestern Illinois...

* Until 915 PM CDT.

* At 824 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Eliza, or 7 miles southeast of Muscatine, moving
  east at 25 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Illinois City, Petersville, and Marston around 830 PM CDT.
  Millersburg, Hamlet, Edgington, and Loud Thunder Scout Camp around 
  835 PM CDT.
  Gingle Corners and Aledo Mercer County Airport around 840 PM CDT.

Other locations in the path of this tornadic thunderstorm include
Reynolds, Taylor Ridge, Old Gilchrist, Shale City and Wanlock.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

CENTRAL ROCK ISLAND AND NORTH CENTRAL MERCER COUNTIES...

At 842 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Marston, or 8 miles north of Aledo, moving east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

  Corners, Aledo Mercer County Airport, Shale City, Wanlock and Old
