The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern St. Clair County in west central Missouri...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 631 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Lowry City, or 18 miles northeast of El Dorado
  Springs, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Truman Lake, Osceola, Lowry City, Harper, Iconium, and Monegaw
  Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

NORTHEASTERN ST. CLAIR COUNTY...

At 638 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Lowry City, or 18 miles south of Clinton, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.
