North central Hockley County in northwestern Texas...
South central Lamb County in northwestern Texas...
* Until 745 PM CDT.
* At 712 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles east of Pep, or 7 miles southwest of
Littlefield, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
north central Hockley and south central Lamb Counties.
