Northeastern Murray County in southern Oklahoma...
* Until 445 PM CDT.
* At 132 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain
have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

Ada, Byng, Roff, Stonewall, Tupelo, Francis, Fitzhugh, Bromide,
Centrahoma, Hickory, Fittstown, Pontotoc, Connerville, Clarita,
Scullin, Vanoss, Olney and Jesse.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON FOR PONTOTOC, WESTERN COAL, SOUTH CENTRAL HUGHES, NORTHERN
JOHNSTON AND NORTHEASTERN MURRAY COUNTIES...
At 202 PM CDT, emergency management reported that County Line Road
is under water near Pontotoc. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have
fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in
the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.
